Rampant Rabbit has become as much a part of the English language & urban landscape as the term Hoodie but most of us are blissfully unaware that the term Rampant Rabbit is a trademark & not a euphemism for a style of vibrator.

The owners of the trademark Rampant rabbit are in fact the famous high street name Ann Summers but because the term is banded around so freely it has become the most common description for a rabbit vibrator.

Ann Summers brand their rabbits as Rampant Rabbits giving birth to many spin offs such as the rampant rabbit wave, the rampant rabbit thruster, platinum and so on but only they can sell a Rampant Rabbit (& usually at a premium). Everybody else sells rabbit vibrators, some of which bear more than a passing resemblance to their Rampant counter parts but can not be marketed as such because this would be an infringement of the trademark. You will however notice a few on line retailers breaking the rules by advertising rampant versions of the rabbits for sale but once it arrives on your doorstep you will find no mention of the term "Rampant" anywhere on the packaging.
